How do you choose the right sort of magic for your Wedding or social event, well there are four separate types of Magic I would recommend for this type of function.
Reception Magic The Magician you hire will mingle with your guests often as they arrive and performing to couples and small groups during the reception or perhaps when there is a break in the proceedings, say between the meal and the evening entertainment, this is great as an ice breaker as it tends to bring people together and get them talking.
Table Magic Exactly what it says your Magician moves from table to table before during and after the meal, remembering not be intrusive and not to interrupt the food being served or being eaten.
A normal visit to each table will take around 12 to 15 minutes.
Parlour Magic This type of informal Magic was most popular in the Victorian times when a Magician would perform in the Parlour around a table to maybe 20 people, This type of Magic is more informal and can be performed in a quieter part of the venue again around a table to small groups of people.
Cabaret or Stand Up Magic A more popular option where the Magician performs a 20 to 30 minute show to a larger audience with larger Magical props and often uses audience participation.
This type of show often needs more preparation and the Magician will often use sound equipment.
Children's Magic Kevin j is also a well established children's entrtainer, good clean fun great comedy magic shows and balloon modelling kevin j is also a Punch and Judy Professor and can entertain your guests with a Traditional Punch and Judy Show. oh yes he can! his Punch and Judy was recently seen on that popular TV series Doc Martin..........
